    《十戒》与王尔德

    《十戒》与王尔德

     

    耶鲁大学开设RLST 145 - Introduction to the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible),希伯来语圣经介绍课程,而且编号仅仅是145,即不需基础便可选修,相当于大一课程,着实让人羡慕不已。查阅了一下教学参考资料,里面提到摩西五书——《创世纪》、《出埃及记》、《利未记》、《民数记》和《申命记》,忽然很有兴趣,兴致勃勃重温一遍经典电影《十戒》。看到其中两个场景,联想起王尔德,稍作笔录。

     

    在影片后半部分,亲见自己儿子死后,埃及皇后奈弗提利走到法老王兰塞面前,痛心之余又开始挑唆兰塞向摩西寻仇。看着夫君抱着皇儿的尸体走向死神神像,她在椅边半跪下来,似忏悔又似绝望。

     

     

     

    这个造型正好与王尔德在法国的坟墓有几分神似。在拉榭思神父墓园中,王尔德之墓的石质雕塑中的男性恰好也是以这样一种姿势仿佛在背负着石棺盖。《十戒》拍摄于1956年,显然早于王尔德的过世年份,也许设计者从中得到过启发。

     

     

    皇后奈弗提利多次煽风点火,不希望夫君放希伯来人自由,其实她在乎的只是摩西一人,哪怕是在皇子死后,她仍然念念不忘要寻摩西,哪怕只是尸体,她心中的恐怕没有恨,只有爱。这又与王尔德《莎乐美》一剧中莎乐美的心态遥相呼应。莎乐美得不到施洗者约翰的爱,宁可从他被砍下的头颅上得到一吻。多么极致的爱情。莎乐美也其实是圣经中的人物形象。说到施洗者约翰,自然联想到施洗,摩西正是带领着希伯来人前往约旦,基督的受洗处。

     

    《旧约》没有看完就看《新约》,自然对第一章耶稣的族谱感到困惑不已,想不到看完《十戒》,发现族谱中诡异的人名在剧中大量出现,快慰啊。对亚伦,约书亚,约卓贝尔究竟何许人也有了几分了解。圣经文化无处不在。
